We take a consultative approach to our business. Instead of a one-size-fits-all sales approach, we want to get to know you in order to better understand your situation, your needs, and your budget. We work with many different insurance providers who all have a number of different plans and options. Our job is to help you identify and understand the options that seem to best suit your particular situation. We’re interested in a long-term relationship with you and hope to serve you for a long time, so we won’t rush or push you upfront.

WHO WE ARE

A.C Forrest insurance group is a family-run business that understands the needs of individuals and small businesses. With offices in suburban Atlanta and in Greenville, our focus is on serving clients in Georgia, South Carolina, and surrounding states. Art Forrest leads the business from our Georgia office. His wife, Jo, serves as a client service specialist and provides administrative support. Alex, their son, runs our Greenville office.

After several years in the insurance business, Art founded AC Forrest Insurance Group in 1980 with a desire to build a different kind of insurance agency, one that served the needs of individuals and small businesses with a client-centered philosophy that resulted in exceptional service to clients. We have more than 30 years of experience in helping individuals and small businesses with health insurance, life insurance, and related products. Because we are a small business, we understand the unique needs and pressures our clients face and have the experience and tools to serve you effectively. As we like to say, we’re big enough and experienced enough to help you, and small enough to care.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT

While there are a lot of different individual and small business health insurance providers available, we only choose to work with those we believe offer quality benefits and service. We’re very particular about the plans and companies we recommend – it reflects poorly on us if the company we suggest performs below our expectations. At the end of the day, we work for you.

HOW WE ARE PAID

People often ask how we’re paid, and we’re happy to answer you because we want to be upfront and transparent with our clients (because we’re interested in a long-term relationship with you). We are paid a commission by the insurance company when we sell their plan. The amount and structure of that commission varies with different companies and products, but it is usually (though not always) some percentage of the premiums we generate. It’s important for you to realize, though, that your premiums are unaffected by our commission – your premium will be the same whether you purchase coverage through us or buy directly from the insurance company. This means two things: First, it means that our service is free to you. Second, it means that we work for you and are motivated to make sure you are happy with your insurance coverage.
